Seminar on “CMA as a Career” at City University

A career counselling seminar on “CMA as a Career” was held on November 06, 2022 at City University, Savar, Dhaka as a part of the promotional activities of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).  Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid, MBA, FCMA, Associate Professor of ICMAB spoke in the seminar as the Resource Person. In his speech, Mr. Rashid highlighted several aspects of the CMA Profession including the benefits of having a CMA degree in the achievement of the highest echelon in the organizational hierarchy. Mir Akhter Hossain, Registrar, City University expressed sincere gratitude towards ICMAB for organizing such a program and requested ICMAB to organize such a program on a regular interval. Professor Dr. Mihir Kumar Roy, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Faria Rabbi, Director, HR Department, City University and Mr. Ahsanul Bari FCMA, Chairman, Orange Hub Impex Limited were also present in the program and motivated students to become a proud professional cost and management accountants. Chairpersons of different Departments, faculty members, and a good number of students from the Faculty of Business Administration participated in the program and raised several queries to learn about the CMA program. ICMAB acknowledge Mr. Morshedul Arefin, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, City University for facilitating the seminar.
