ICMAB organized a training on “VAT Talk – A Practical Approach, Session One”

The Training Department of ICMAB has organized a training “VAT Talk – A Practical Approach, Session One” on Friday, 17 February 2023 for its Members of the Institute from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.The training was started with an introductory speech from the Treasurer of ICMAB Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Past President and Council Member of ICMAB Mr. Jamal Ahmed Choudhury FCMA, and Council Member of ICMAB Mr. S.M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA. On the other hand, Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahman ACMA, Joint Commissioner, Customs, Excise & VAT conducted the training sessions as resource person.
It was a blended training program, which was conducted both physically and online through zoom video conferencing system. Around 160 (one hundred and sixty) members actively participated in the 6 (six) hours long training sessions both in physically and online through zoom platform. The training program was very interactive and lively where the active participation from the trainer and trainee made an electrifying atmosphere. At the end of the training, a token of appreciation has been given to the the resource person by Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Treasurer of the Institute and Mr. S.M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA, Council Member of ICMAB.
