ICMAB observed 20th death anniversary of its founder Ruhul Quddus

 

ICMAB observed 20th death anniversary of its founder Ruhul Quddus. On this occasion, ICMAB’s Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) organized a special Prayer (Do’a) mahfil and discussion session at Nilkhet in the capital on Wednesday evening. Chairman of DBC Dr. Syed Abdullah Al Mamun FCMA presided over the program and president of the institute Mr. Md Mamunur Rashid FCMA, former president Mr. Rafiq AhmedFCMA, Mr. Abu Bakar SiddiqueFCMA, Mr. ASM Shaykhul IslamFCMA, Mr. AKM Delwar Hussain FCMA, Mr. Mohammad Salim FCMA, Secretary Mr. AKM Kamruzzaman FCMA, former secretary Kazi Muhammad Ziauddin FCMA and former director Mr. Mofazzal Hossain  reminiscing the working life of Quddus.

 

The speakers said that Ruhul Quddus was the pioneer of the profession Cost and Management Accountant (CMA). With his contribution, CMA professionals are playing an active role in establishing good governance, transparency, accountability and order in the country’s economy. He created the professional CMA with the infrastructure of the institute for the development of skilled human resources and brought it international recognition. His goodwill and human qualities are working as a driving force in the fortunes of CMAs. CMA professionals in all countries of the world are spreading light like sunlight and its name is becoming bright.

Members and officials of the Institute attended and prayed for the salvation of the departed souls.
