Grand Reception to the Newly Qualified CMAs
Council of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has accorded an open hall reception to the students who passed CMA final examination in May 2022 examination. The program was held on September 15, 2022 at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium. Honorable Special Envoy, Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), Former Principal Secretary and Former Principal Coordinator, SDG, Prime Minister’s Office Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad has graced the event as Chief Guest while Mr. A K M ALI AHAD KHAN, Additional Secretary (IIT), Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present in this program as Guest of Honor.
A total of 23(twenty) students who successfully qualified to achieve the prestigious CMA degree after passing all the subjects of the CMA course were warmly greeted by the Office Bearers, Council Members, Members and Students of the Institute. Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad congratulated the newly passed CMAs. He said, “to enrich yourselves you must learn and know about everything around you.” Besides he gave importance on professional practice, self-development and manners and also mentioned that, these things play a vital role on career development. Mr. A K M ALI AHAD KHAN congratulated the newly passed CMAs. He assured that he will take necessary steps for the development of this profession and the Institute. Mr. Md. Munirul Islam FCMA, Vice‑president& Chairman of Examination Committee in his welcome address, he advised the newly qualified CMAs to maintain the highest standard in rendering their professional services. Mr. A. K. M. Delwer Hussain FCMA, Chairman, Seminar & Conference Committee said that, CMA professionals can create a great impact by putting their expertise for ensuring clarity in various economic aspects. Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, President of the Institute mentioned that as a professional they should remain committed to their responsibilities to the society. He requested the honorable chief guest to create more scope for the CMA professionals in relevant fields so that they can give their effort for the development of this country.
The program was moderated by Mr. Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA Treasurer, ICMAB. The Secretary of the Institute Mr. A.K.M. Kamruzzaman FCMA offered a vote of thanks. A large number of Fellow & Associate Members and students of the Institute attended the program.
