A Training Session on “Individual Tax Return Filing in Light of Income Tax ACT 2023: A Practical Approach”

The Training Department of the Institute organized a training session on “Individual Tax Return Filing in Light of Income Tax ACT 2023: A Practical Approach.” The session was held on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at 7:00 PM at ICMAB Annex Building in Nilkhet, Dhaka-1205. The purpose of the training was to help Members of the Institute learn how to correctly fill out a tax return in accordance with the Income Tax Act 2023. The training included a practical exercise, where attendees were required to fill out a tax return based on audited accounts.

It was a 3-hour long training session where Mr. Md. Mohiman ACMA, CEO of MM & Co. Cost and Management Accountants with vast experience in Tax, VAT, and Audit conducted the training session as a resource person. A total of 30 Members of ICMAB participated in the session physically.

At the end, Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, President of ICMAB delivered a brief speech. In his deliberation, he highlighted how important this type of training is for professionals like CMAs. At the closing of the training session Mr. President handed over a token gift to the resource person. 

Among others, Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam FCMA, Mr. Md. Maksudur Rahman FCMA both Council Members of the Institute were present in the program.
