ICMAB Webinar discussion to observe National Mourning Day

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) observed National Mourning Day on Sunday, the 15th August 2021 arranging a discussion on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

A special webinar discussion program was held at 7:30 pm where Mr. Amir Hossain Amu MP, Chairman, the parliament standing committee on the Ministry of Industry attended as the chief guest.

Mrs. Waseqa Ayesha Khan MP, Chairman, the Parliament Standing Committee on the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce attended the program as special guests.

Professor DR. Syed Anwar Husain, Ex-Chairman, Department of History, Dhaka University and Ex-Director General, Bangla Academy was present as discussant. Mr. Md. Anwarul Islam, FCMA, Member, Sub-committee of Commerce & Industries, Bangladesh Awami League presented as keynote presenter.

ICMAB President Mr. Abu Bakar Siddhique FCMA presided over the discussion meeting. Mr. AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA, Chairman of ICMAB Seminar & Conference Committee and President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) gave the speech.

Mr. Md. Jasim Uddin Akond FCMA, Past President, ICMAB and present Council member conducted and moderated the program.

Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, Vice-President of ICMAB delivered the welcome Speech and Kazi Muhammad Ziauddin FCMA, Secretary of ICMAB offered the vote of thanks.
