Cost Audit— an Effective Tool of Corporate Governance to be held on May
10, 2009.
Dear Sir,
We have the pleasure to inform you that the Institute of Cost and
Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) is going to organize an
International Seminar on Cost
Audit— an Effective Tool of Corporate Governance at Celebrity Hall,
Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar,
Dhaka at 9.30 a.m.
Lt. Col. (Rtd.) Faruq Khan, Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of
Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has kindly
consented to grace the occasion as Chief Guest and inaugurate the Seminar.
Technical Papers will be presented by the Resource Persons from ICWA India, ICMA Pakistan and ICMA Bangladesh.
The members of the Professional Accounting bodies, Business
Communities, Regulatory Agencies Entrepreneurs and dignitaries of the
countries are expected to participate in the seminar. Besides, the
representatives of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) bodies
will also attend the program.
On behalf of the Institute, we have the pleasure to invite you kindly
to participate the Seminar and make the program a success. We strongly
feel that the discussion and the materials to be supplied in the
Seminar would enrich your knowledge and would update you on the
subject. Registration Fees of the Seminar are:
- Members of ICMAB (individual capacity) @ Tk. 1,000.00
- Organizational participants @ Tk. 2,000.00
Last date for receiving the filled-up Registration Form along with Registration Fee is May 6, 2009. The
fees may be paid by cheque/pay order/demand draft drawn in favour of
ICMAB or in cash. Kindly fill-up the enclosed Registration Form and
send the same to the Officer-in-Charge of the Institute along with the
registration fees within the scheduled date.
We also confirm that 6 (Six) hours CPD credit will be given to members for participating the Seminar.
