Subject: Invitation to participate in the ICMAB Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program of 2008.
Dear Sir,
As you know, professional accountants need to update their knowledge on a continuous basis to provide efficient service to the society. For this purpose the Institute organizes various programs including CPD, Discussion Sessions, etc. These professional development activities of the Institute have been further accelerated by the introduction of Statement of Membership Obligation (SMO) by IFAC for its members. According to the SMO No. 2, a member of an IFAC member body should earn minimum of 120 hours credit within a three-year rolling period but not less than 20 hours credit in a year. To ensure maximum credit hour for the members the Institute has decided to hold a 2 day-long CPD Program-2008 on Friday, June 12-13, 2008, at ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka. The topics and schedule of the CPD program are as follows:

Eminent Scholars and expert professionals of the country will participate in the CPD Program as Discussant and Session Chairmen.

Registration Fee for each Member is Taka 300/- only.
Registration fee may be paid in Cash/A/c Payee Check/Pay Order drawn on ICMAB by 10th June, 2008.
We also confirm that 6 (six) hours CPD credit will be given for attending the program.
