The Institute of
Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh is the only national
institute of the country imparting training and education in the field
of cost and management accounting. The Institute is a statutory
organisation constituted by the government under the Cost and
Management Accountants Ordinance, 1977 (Ordinance No. LIII of 1977) and
regulated under the Cost and Management Accountants Regulations, 1980
(as amended upto date).

Rashid, FCMA were elected as President, Vice President, Vice President, Secretary and
Treasurer of the Institute
of Cost and Management
Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB)
for the year 2010. The election of these office-bearers was held at a meeting
of the 13th Council of ICMAB held
on January 28, 2010.
